- Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by
- Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test, followed by

- Draw of lots by using the computer or IT with no human intervention.
5. Revised Exam Pattern and Duration
The NEET (UG) – 2024 test pattern includes four subjects, each divided into two sections. Section A has 35 questions, while Section B has 15 questions, from which candidates can choose to answer any 10. Overall, the total number of questions and time allotted remains the same.
